Memorial Park at The Entrance came alive with sparkle, music, and movement for this year’s Light Up the Lake, part of The Lakes Festival 2025.
From sun-kissed daytime roving acts to dazzling night-time LED performers, Aluminus Dance Entertainment transformed the park into a world of glowing wonder and interactive fun.
🌞 Daytime Magic – Mermaids, Bubbles & Nautical Fun/ Roving Entertainment
During the day, festival-goers were treated to a vibrant display of family-friendly roving entertainment. Our Mermaids & Bubbles glided through the park, delighting children with floating bubbles, pearlescent costumes, and radiant smiles — the perfect photo moment for families enjoying the foreshore.
Adding a splash of coastal charm, our Sail Through the Med and Nautical Candy Rovers brightened the crowd with colourful costumes, high-energy performances, and candy handouts that brought laughter and excitement to every corner of the festival. These roaming entertainers added the perfect interactive touch for community events, family days, and seaside celebrations.
🌙 Nighttime Glow – A Sea of Light
As the sun set over the lake, the magic only intensified. Our LED Glow Jellyfish performers lit up the night with hundreds of vibrant lights, creating a breathtaking spectacle beneath the glowing Ferris wheel at Memorial Park.
With shimmering fabrics, glowing tendrils, and graceful movement, the Glow Jellyfish roving act transformed the festival grounds into a living underwater fantasy. The combination of light, colour, and character interaction made them a true showstopper — perfect for night festivals, waterfront events, and illuminated parades.
